Lulz, just kidding...though. I'm not really into Hardcore...Moshcore and how you want to call it. Music wise this was really nice.. Tight sound, pumping kick drum. Good mix. Where did you record this one btw. and why the hell does the second version sound like shit compared to this? Also, what was used as gear etc.? Would be interesting to know, at least for me. :)
Do you have a site as well to check besides NG? Enough asking already I know. Keep up the good fight soldier.

Holy shit! You're an Audio mod! We recorded in a studio in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The second version sounds shittier because we recorded it in a garage with rented gear.
I Don't know any brands or anything, but I know we had a lot of stuff to record the drums, and that we basically mixed the bass out. I used an Ibanez Prestige that I no longer own. on this song, the rhythm Guitarist used my ESP Eclipse.
Krank Amp that I rented was used, although now I own one. I think The rhythm guitarist used a Peavey of some sort. Montser cables, 1.0 mm picks, etc.

Though...Nicholls should get away from that fucking beatcrap drum prog. *sigh*...Anyways, main attention on the vocals and I gotta say damn swell job man! I do like em a tad better than the one's on the original. I guess it's because your vox are deeper and more brutal. \m/

I say, challenge well handled! Sure, there are things that could have been improved! (bass, a couple of synths) but as you mentioned already, it's not the best you could work with...though, it's something that shows what you archive with the things you already have.

The bass sounds like poopy scoopy, I should've played around with it more. I hate how lazy I can be sometimes! :(
My favorite sound I made is the thing that plays by itself in the very beginning. It sounds a lot like the actual one from the game!

Builds up pretty slow but with a good transition to the main part. Liked how you managed to give this song a more dancy feel. The quality is also a plus here. I'm guessing 320kbit? ;D

Wow, thanks! It was actually done on a whim (a friend start with "wouldn't it be funny if....LOL). I decided to put more effort into it, but I'm still learning the whole dance buildup/progression thing (I play rock music mostly). I love all types of music, so I figured I'd give the dance production thing a shot.

played 1942, so I don't really know the original but I guess that's not a big deal after all. This one's pretty nice. A bit unbalanced though. The leads drown a little too much in the actual mix for my taste and the drums could have been up more as well. With a little more work, it would be perfect.
Though, it's still nice to listen to so I'm giving a thumbs up for good job and a 5/5!

Joah, hatte ehrlich gesagt keinen Bock mehr auf diesen Song... Hab den nur zwischendurch gemacht um von der normalen Schiene mal etwas abzuweichen.
Naja, vielleicht finde ich irgendwann in der Zukunft mal Inspiration das Liedchen abzumischen.

Damn fine job there sir! Nice re-arrangement. Your mixing get's better and better. I am into it more as well myself now. Getting more into compression and all that overproducing shizzl. ;)

You might check back on clipping though, because at 2:50 I hear it constantly. >:/ Other than that, good job son! :)
