Uuuuh, secretly secret! ;D

"Another" guitarist ey. Who might that be? Guess I'll find out soon enough. lolol. Anyways, nice preview there man. Ya know da score! \m/

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Oh actually, its a buddy from work. We'd love to start a band, as he is a kick ass motherfucker...but drummers and bassists are hard to come by. :'(

It doesn't matter, at least we can still kick some ass! haha. I'll probably post some pics tomorrow, actually. As he'll be over to work on it some more. :D

METAL

Tight!

Yupp, that's what it is. The tracks clips a bit, so you might want to check your EQ settings again but overall it was pretty nice. I also disagree on what netty-swobb wrote...The drums are to loud? Uhm...not really. In my opinion they fit in well with the mix.

The track get's a bit repetitive at some point, because of the breakdowns but all in all you're having a pretty neat one here. 5up!

djt820 responds:

Thanks man!

Errection! ;D

Lol, that was funny as fuck. I always like those kind of things. Take a shitty pop track and turn it into a funny death metal cover. I guess you recieved much mouth action <3 from your girlfriend afterwards...right...RIGHT!? ;D

5up! xD

AngelsDontKill responds:

Yeah! She pulled out a fork, knife, and bib ... dimmed the lights ... put on gloves ... and beat me down for ruining the Beatles XD

Cool! :)

I heard that one a million times now on other pages (Bad-Man, Metaljonus, speedmetal etc.), guess it's time to punch a comment to the very original, right? ;)

Aah, sweeping. Guess that's one thing I'll be able to learn. I would like to spent more time with my guitar but I guess it doesn't really work out. :/

Anyways, the sweeps were pretty solid. Some very very minor inaccurateness but seeing that sweeping is something that you don't learn over night, it's nothing really to bug about.

Overall, cool track! :D

sorohanro responds:

a 10* and a nice review coming from one of the best musicians/guitarists here is quite flattering, thanx
btw, i was pleasantly surprised by the impact of the "Guitar Challenge" ... i will make another one ;)

Why ello thar!

Which reminds me that I have to punch something over your first arp. song. XD Damn, I'm too lazy the last time. Anyways, I gotta agree with your girlfriend. It kind of sounds like James Bond. Basicly the backing does nearly excactly.

Aaaanyways, nice one. Arps well practiced! :)

Though, I think your guitar sound could be a little more clearer. Sounds a bit muffled to me in this but that's not a big deal. It was enjoyable none the less! 5up!

sorohanro responds:

my guitar is a chinese one (Vorson, cheaper than romanian ones ... in Romania...) and because i had to sell my amp, now i plug the guitar directly in my computer >:( ... so, that is with the crappy sound
first thing on my next salary is to buy a guitar amp (but that i say for at least one year and a half)

thanx for review

Holy damn...epic! :)

Now that's epic for sure. Damn swell stuff. How long will it be in the end? What tools do you use to record your guitar? Just software or like myself for example a podxt?

Tight distortion I gotta say. Surround panned? Anyways, nice preview there. Waiting for the full thing! \m/

5up!

Devastus responds:

How long? Well, what I have in mind would be parts that would be arranged like this:

Orchestral (just orchestra) - Orchestra Metal - Metal ( couple solos) - Orchestra Metal

In the preview you can hear a part of the first Orchestra Metal part. So it's most likely gonna be long :P

Right now I do record my stuff by just using either Guitar Rig or AmpliTube. Since it gets good results, why not :P (Though I used a podxt some time ago. You can hear the results mainly in War God Anhur which I have uploaded here, but it's an old song now) Yeah, I got the riff guitars panned to the sides.

Just wait till I get the whole thing done, it'll most likely be the most epic thing I've ever done :P Thank you for your review and the five.

Pretty good!

First off...wtf?

"Because NG only gives me 90 charries to explain myself, I tried to do it on just another way to have some more space for my story."

WRONG, just type all into the description silly. The 90 chars are only for "keywords" if somebody searches for a song. Just check this song and you'll see how much you can write out. ;)

On to the song. Well, it's sad. That's certain...The drums are a bit strange sometimes...mainly with the reverb but overall it pretty much catches the feel of a dramatic funeral scene with an upcoming feeling of wrath.

Fits good in the contest I think. Good luck! 5/5!

Carf responds:

Oi Dark, thanks for the review... the thingie bout 90 charries is a thing from a long time ago, since then you guys has changed it into a more decent system ;0. Could not edit it afterwards... buuut anyways, for sure that I will check the link, always intresting to receive something from one of the *crew*. Thanks for your kind words and for sure that I will be there neXt contest.

Keep up the good work.

Job well done!

Well, you surely learned your lessons today son. Well put together. I can clearly hear the influences. I gotta say that the drums could be a bit more present in the mix (at least for my taste). A bit more overall reverb would help I guess. Mainly the hi-hats, crashes don't come through.

Other than that, this track has something. Unique in it's own way. Kinda metal/jazz fused at a point.

Overall, well done! 5up!

Sonofkirk responds:

Metal jazz fusion ! haha, thanks !

Hum ... I don't like when the crashes are too loud, actually. I think they sound good (for my taste ^^).

Thanks a lot for the 5 and the 10 bro. You kick ass \m/

I gotta pee! :(

Yeah, this track wants me to do it...blablabla.

Well, it's ambience alright...too bad it's not going "anywhere". I kind of miss a melody that let's you grab your...your...you know silly. ;D

Naa but overall it's a good track. 0'd! lolol

Rig responds:

I wasn't feeling very melody-y when I wrote it :P

Cool! :)

Ah yes...320kbps! High in mb's but high in quality as well. I gotta say this song kind of reminds me a little of MilkManDan's "Final" Song at the beginning. Smooth transition from the more slowly part to a faster, energy driven part which suddenly stops it's motion just to go on again with a short outburst of the energy which it holds.

Great track there indeed! A good contender! Best of luck for the contest! 5/5!

SinJim responds:

Thanks Darkside for the review, sorry I haven't responded - been moving into a new apartment. I'll have to check out milkmandan's song. I'm glad you liked the transitions and the energy in the song. Good luck to you as well, I'm glad you liked this.
