lol, this was my friend being weird! :D
Swheet!
That one was nice. Pretty kick ass actually. I liked the part where the slow toms come in. Has something from Atreyu.
The solo part wasn't my cup of tea though, the panning was hella strange there. Also, the solo could have been a little more boob on but I assume it was more improvised then planned. ;D
The mix also could have been a lot better but seeing that we all can't have studio equipment, this was ok.
Anyways, kick ass riffings and overall enjoyable to listen to. Keep at it!

Thanks a lot for the review man, I actually have an updated version I'm gonna put up on here that you can hear the drums on more, and the panning during the solo isn't as weird. Yeah, the solo was pretty much thought up on the spot, not the kind of soloing I usually do, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Anyways, thanks a lot for the review man, expect an updated version on here sometime soon, I really appreciate it.
Crazy...
in a good way. Damn, I'm not really used to that stuff. haha. Anyways, the layering was perfect. Everything fit well together, even with the delays etc.
It's something twisted to say at least. The samples you used where fine and I think they don't need anymore tweaking at all. I don't really know what to write here else.
It's not really that stuff I'm listening too but I do believe that it takes some time to create something like this. Props therefor.
Thats why I say...Good job man! ;D

Thanks mate, I didn't have to tweak any samples as there aren't any samples in this track :) It's all synthesized. It didn't take an extremely log time to put together really - maybe a couple hours total. Again, thank you for the review and the vote!
Quite ok!
You know, the structure itself was pretty good, though...the sample aren't at all. :/ Some sound very blank, especially the guitar synth and also the drums. It could work as a game tune in a cave level or something. It's even good for a certain scene with dialogue.
But then again, those are only my thoughts on this.
Good job on the mix and structure but overall it could use some more tweaking. Good luck for the contest!

Cheers, I'd say I'm gonna do some more tweaking a bit more... try and make it a bit more seamless.
Cheers for the r&r!
Cool!
Liked the track, mix was good as well but I got some complaints none the less. ;D Synth guitars/bass will always be synth guitars/bass...they will never catch the feeling of a real thing. The track sounds a bit weak because of that in my opinion. A major let-down, sadly - since it's done pretty good! Also, the drums could have been tweaked a little more, especially the snare.
Overall, it was enjoyable to listen to and a tune with quality so yeah, have a cookie or two.

Thanks for the tips/pointers dude. I'll keep then in mind when I'm working on my next piece!
Fairly entertaining!
Well let's see here. This was one swell track. First off...why Misc.? This would fit better in the classical section...Anyways, on to the track. The opening was perfect. I can imagen this in, let's say the first level of the game where it all starts.
The Knights packing their stuff - fighting in the castle, kicking butt - sound fx - slash, bang. Yeah, sure as hell I can imagen that in there!
Sound was very good in my opinion. The china gong? was a neat touch too. Also props for adding some military drumbeats in there. Now WHO would thought of that!? lollers.
Overall, great track - great entry. Good work and good luck in the contest you looser! ;D

Thanks for the review, Darkside :D if you would have noticed, the song also loops nearly seamless :)
Thanks again, bro.
And keep those lols in your pants. God.

GAY RAINBOW MAAAAN!!!
Great!
Woah, that was swell as hell. Awesome loop there buddy. Perfect for a menu or mission briefing. From the overall sound I'd say I'm in a cave or something, that really got me hooked! :)
Anyways, obey teh "King of teh Misc.! LJgotCoffee!" :D
Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for -=LJC=- DSQ Loop, raising its score from 3.63 to 3.78.
King if teh Misc. heh... :D
Yeah, that sounds good - now if only it would result in a throng of fans throwing money at me.
Thanks for the encouragement - Still headed toward FL later this year?
Hm, Gameboy!?
My first impression was...hey, some coins already or GTFO! XD
Anyways, enough with the bullshitting around. I always liked the way you clash around with those samples man. You make them trippy has hell.
Nice layering also. Everything fit well together from what I could hear. ^^
The only let-down is that it get's a little repetitive in awhile but it's enjoyable to listen to none the less. Kick ass job there homie! Ur the man now dawg! ;D
Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for -=LJC=- Tribute, raising its score from 4.25 to 4.31.
Hey thanks man. I've gotten decent feedback on it so far - it does get a little repetitive after a while but I had fun making it - that's what's most important to me :)
Thanks again for the review!
