Hello?

Why didn't I reviewed this sooner? Must have been hidden somewhere. You bastard! :)

Anyways, cool track man. Nice beginning with the samples. The guitar tone is a bit weak or maybe the drums are a tad to loud in the mix. Doesn't mean it's bad, it's just an observation.

Keep it up! \m/

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for SAW, raising its score from 4.28 to 4.31.

pitchblak responds:

Yeah man,on my computer speakers,my guitar and drums sounded like they were mixed evenly, but after i uploaded it and deleted my mixdown,i played it on my surround sound and noticed that the drums are a little to loud.It was to late to go back and correct. Now before i upload anything i try to listen to it on different speakers to prevent that problem.Anyways, thanx alot 4 the vote and review. My 1st gold track!Hell yeah!

OMG DEATH!!

Fucking evil tone on the guitars mate. Deadly slow. Not much else to say. Kick arse.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Heavy Riff of DEATH!, raising its score from 4.00 to 4.10.

speedmetalmessiah responds:

Yeah I really like the tone too. Thanks for the vote and review man.

Quite cool!

I'm not sure with the genre myself. It could also fit in DnB. Whatever. XD Hm, how to begin?...Nothing to bug about the soundquality thats for sure. Good samples you used there. The bass is very "aggressiv". I assume it was intended. Ok...maybe one thing to bug about. Thats the kick. I guess it could be a litttlle less "kicking" if you know what I mean or maybe it's just a bit too loud in the mix. Who knows? XD Apart from that it all goes well. Hence the title I say.

Very jungle like. It's declared unfinished but you ended it on a passage were it really "could" end. So good job on there as well.

Enjoyed listening to it. Keep em coming. Huzzah for curry. :)

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Jungle Trash Opera*Unfinished*, raising its score from 0.00 to 5.00.

curriemaster responds:

Hey DarKsidE,

You seem to be my biggest fan! Thanks very much for another great review mate.

I made this with Kontakt2 (which I recently procured) and a Warwick bass (which is borrowed) and Im very pleased with it so far.

The bass was indeed intended to sound aggressive, though I think the build up needs a good working over. Thanks for pointing out the kick drum as well man, I went back to check it, and the kick is clipping!

Thanks again for the review mate, rock on :P

Ah yes!

Not sure how much I heard this over and over. It's quite addictive. It has such a dramatic feel to it...also epic, what is your brand anyways.

The variety of your instrument usage is what impresses me. Everything is harmonized very good with each other. I can imagen thats very hard to deal with so many instruments. So kudos there.

Not much to say else, except for...

keep em coming MaestroEmo-Rage-Wuzzy-Sorrow-Lolz and so on. :)

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for _-={An Ambitious War}=-_, raising its score from 4.41 to 4.43.

MaestroRage responds:

One day I WILL make MaestroLolz, and then i'll be lolzing while you sit there and be like "Damn... he really did make it... >:("

And then I shall lolz myself to an early grave.

Anyways, harmonization is indeed a stickler, but dang it if you poke at the song long enough, if you listen to what it wants to say and just click it into being, it kinda unweaves itself. Or so the musically theory illeterate Maestro says :D.

Thank you for the review Darkside, i'm glad you enjoyed it ^^.

HO HO HO!

Nice funny tune there. Somehow the violins remind me of the casualty song - unknown soldier. Funny isn't it? I show next time on msn. ;)

What to bug about? Well basicly nothing, cause you know your socks. Great in every way. Still, you don't stand a chance against me. 0.75 I say. >:(

See ya around my good man, take care.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for _-={The Epic Christmas!}=-_, raising its score from 4.21 to 4.27.

MaestroRage responds:

IF YOU BRING UP THAT SCORE ONE MORE TIME >:(

ONE MORE! >:(!!!

Well i'm glad you enjoyed the piece, I already told Santa that you were a naughty boy, so he should be there soon to mutila... teach you a lesson :D!

Thank you for the review ^^.

Christmas?

Well by hearing this tune I surely can imagen we got christmas already. Easy change to get featured in nearly a ton of christmas flashes. Damn you classical composers. You are blessed with this contest cause you got teh bells if you know what I mean. ;)

Great quality and feel this tune has. It will be hard to come up with something to beat that one. Best of luck for you for the contest. :)

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Hi there,

Come now sir... surely christmas can't be all violins and bells ... but it does help :P.

I hope your making a piece as well... I personally hope everyone makes a piece. I love listening to all the christmas pieces... it's like christmas coming early for me.

Quite Fantastical.

Thanks for the review mate. And good luck to you as well if you make an entry.

Coolage!

Nice opening man and kick ass riffing. Nice jam out. :) Still, I think we two need to do a little "not clipping" cubase session. I think that one of the major problems of your songs. The uncontrolled amplitude. : /

Well, talk about that on msn fooka! \m/

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Lucy is Dead, keeping its score at 5.00.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Weird, my Cubase says it doesn't clip. And then, normalized to -2 db. So yeah, your help would be greatly appreciated, if its still clipping. I don't know what the hell. heheh. Glad you like the riffing though, you badass GERMANATOR \m/

Solid!

You're right, it could have sounded a lot better. The major problem is the clipping of the track, when the chorus etc. kicks in. Also the chorus stops very abruptly afterwards.

It's not bad just needs some more work in the mixing.

Give it 4/5.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 4 for Boss Fight- Sonic 2, raising its score from 3.25 to 3.40.

vcrock responds:

Thanks for the review! I know it sounds pretty crappy near the end. I may make a clearer, better sounding one. I may also remix the crap out of it. heh heh. Thanks for listening!

Arabian!

Sounds like it's a towntune from a small desert town to me. Very RPG like. Really nothing to bug about the quality. I like it very much. It has something.

Good to see you back "online" :)

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Funkatronic Snifter, raising its score from 4.50 to 4.67.

curriemaster responds:

Hey DarkSide!

Thanks very much for the review and of course the 5. Now that you mention it, it might be quite good in a flash submission. I too can imagine as some town music in a Zelda-esque game.

Ill be reviewing some of your stuff now, Im sure it will be good!

Cheers,
-Curriemaster
