Fun times! :)
Ah yes, that was fun. Reminds me of the good old days when I sucked like hell as well. Your riffs weren't bad and the playing was pretty solid, though the soundquality and the overall emptyness is the problem. Of course you're just a beginner, so I give you some pointers what you could do to get a bit more out of your recording, than just a wall of sound. ;)
First off, if you don't already use audacity, download it. It's free and a good start in the world of recording. Of course you could buy a real recording program already but they are more complex as well. Audacity is good to learn some basics.
You def. need drums in order to pump out a solid track. Acoustica beatcraft is pretty ok for the start. Google it, you can free trail it for 14 days. Mixing/Recording takes time, so take it easy and don't get to hasty with it, good things require time.
If you have questions regarding your sound etc. feel free to visit the NG audio forum. Lots of musicians there that can help you with nearly evey questions.
All in all, keep it up! ;)
