Short...

but kick ass. Nuff said. >:(

Nice pinches dudeface.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Angry Music., raising its score from 2.50 to 3.00.

AngelsDontKill responds:

Tehe, thanks. This Summer I should be getting a real microphone, and hopefully a lot of practicing with playing and recording my stuff should be a little better.

Very cool!

Fast and action packed. A thing that bugs me here a lot are the synth guitars. I hate synth guitars, they just don't have a good feel and sound. If you can, try to find someone who can put some real guitar in it (like me, lol). Anyways, apart from the synth guitarness, it's a great submission. Nice change of beats and synths.

Maybe you could bring the drums a little more up in the mix, they sound a tad too blank to me, especially the hi-hat. It would also be a good idea to cut the last five seconds of the song as well, the end just sounds weird with the hi-hat hits.

I personally like that "phoneline" part at 1:20 best. Very cool.

Good stuff man, your music doesn't suck a bit.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Into the Fire +2!, raising its score from 4.00 to 4.33.

CyrusOfNaias responds:

The last five seconds were supposed to loop it... oh well. Thanks!

Boss fight!

Yeah, pretty much it. The track has the right bossish feeling for sure. Something a flash author could use in a side-scroller game. Nicely done.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Cere - Boss (loop), raising its score from 3.00 to 3.67.

CyrusOfNaias responds:

That's the review I hoped for, ultimately. Appreciated.

Nice!

Well, that was actually pretty good. The synths are tough, though they could use a bit more equalizing on some points but other than that there's really nothing much wrong with this track.

It's solid and enjoyable to listen to. The intro is cheesy as well.

To get a bit more exposure, review musicians, who are willing to review others as well, you see that on the amount of their reviews. It's hard to get some votes in the audio portal, even very good musicians are fucked if a mass 0 vote messes with their page.

If you do your music description, add some tags like mario / fight / sad etc. for example. A lot of users do not browse through the section pages, they use the search function to find certain songs.

Well, these are just some basic tips. Of course everybody has it's own way but I guess those are helpful things for the start.

Keep it up!

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Super Mario Land 2 (+1), raising its score from 3.50 to 3.71.

CyrusOfNaias responds:

Advise is appreciated. I usually browse others' songs. Like I did yours yesterday!

Now now...

another one? OMGS. Nice man, Sadly, that the drums are missing, still some nice riffage going on there. I give it 4 muffs out of 5. I spare teh 5 for the full tune. lol. ;)

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 4 for Fires Of Oblivion Prototype, lowering its score from 4.33 to 4.25.

Metalholic115 responds:

It's kinda hard to realize just how empty it sounds without drums, lol. I'm trying to upload the more full version, but thanks to NG's 4mb limit, I'd have to cut it in half or something. Right now, I'm working on a 4 song demo, and at the moment, I'm cutting vocals and solos. Anyway, thanks for your review dude. GETCHA PULL!

Coolage!

Indeed better than the last one. I have to admit the final master output is a tad to loud on my ears but on the other side your sound is pretty much clearer than in Avast (Redone). Did you change your settings or do you have some new equipment? :)

Anyways, kick ass my friend. Good to see some new shit by you.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Sonic 3 - Ice Cap METALIZED!, keeping its score at 5.00.

Xenogenocide responds:

New drums... Decided to stick to using and playing around with Amplitube, since I found my normal guitar pedal cab/amp settings sound a bit shitty... But yea, I played around with stereo settings, cleaner amp models and all sorts.

Could have been...

very very cool, if it wasn't for the damn synth guitars. :/

Don't get me wrong, you set the tune up very good but the sound? Horrible. Synth guitars and good metal sound? NO.

Sadly that this little gem won't make it far here, cause most of the people are here are in for "the real thing". I guess you have a real guitar in there as well? Sounds like a mix between synth and real guitar. If so the real guitar doesn't sound too real. The tone is very fuzzy and almost the same as the one from the synth guitar.

The good thing is that you got some skillz in programming and "playing" (I assume).

Even the fact that I hate synth guitars I just have to give this a 5, because it's very good composed.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Thunder Force, raising its score from 3.60 to 3.83.

jor182 responds:

thanks man for taking the time and effort of reviewing... yes, i have a guitar but i dont have the sources to record that into my computer, maybe in a short future, but thanks any way

Ziemlich cool!

Well, well, well. Look who we got here, Mr. Mutzi Schnutzi...As requested, this review will be in fucking "GERMAN", so have fun translating. :P

Nettes Lied, muss man schon sagen.

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Mutzi Schnutzi (2:40), raising its score from 4.67 to 4.71.

WinTang responds:

I only had to look up two words! :)

Nice!

Yeah, like Metaljonus already wrote, work on your mixing. ;) For example, the track clips a lot.

And a tip from an "oldie" lol, stick with cubase, it's much better, you'll see eventually.

The tune was played nice though. Also, you should try getting some better drum samples. I suppose you work with beatcraft right?

Overall, pretty cool!

Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 4 for Sonic 2 ending theme metal!!!!, lowering its score from 5.00 to 4.67.

InYourDreams responds:

It's better alright!

Indeed it is. Bass sounds pretty mean on this one. The pinchy snear kicks ass. Overall a great improvement. Distortion kicks ass, though you know how I think about it, so I don't bother anymore. Ahaha. The vocals were different too, right?

Anyways, good job you fags! <3
